How to Win through Craps Strategy
One of the most common rules to profit through Craps is to apply
a "Hedge" system to your play. This is a bet that almost
cancels out another bet resulting in a profit.
As a rule, you will usually get comp credit for both the original
bet AND the hedge. An example would be if you have a "don't
pass" bet of $20 and the point is six or eight, you can
place bet the same number for $18. Then if a seven rolls you win
$20 and lose $18, leaving you a $2 win.
If the six or eight rolls, you win $21 and lose $20, leaving you
$1 up. If the point is 4 or 10, you can place either number for
$15. Then if the seven is thrown, you win $5, ($20-$15) and if
the point is made you win $7, ($21-$20).
Finally, if 5 or 9 is the point, you can place either number for
$15. If the seven is thrown, you win $5 ($20 - $15). If the point
rolls, you win $1, ($21 - $20)
It's a usual rule to receive comp credit for the $20 flat bet PLUS
the additional bet which will make you a $40 bettor with little
risk.
Turning your Craps Game into "Hedge"
Play
Looking more closely, to play Craps, you'll see that it's possible
to turn virtually every bet into a "Hedge" bet. If you
bet $25 pass line, you can hedge it from the two, three and twelve
by betting 3-way craps. In addition, you can add place bets before
the come out and have them hedged by the pass line bet.
Craps Play Strategy in Action

"Hedge" Craps Strategy in Play
Starting with a $10 don't pass bet, make a place bet on
the six and eight for $6 each after the come out roll. Take the
money from the first hit on either of these numbers. This guarantees
you a profit regardless of what happens.
If the shooter sevens out at this point you'll lose your $12 place
bets. You'll have collected $7 from the first hit and $10 from
your "don't pass bet" for a profit of $5.
The second time your place bet hits you place the 5 and the third
time it hits you place the 9. From here on, you gain any
profits from your place bets.
When the shooter makes his point, you ride out all the existing
place bets. Do not place any more numbers or make another "don't"
bet on this shooter.
If the shooter throws a 7 or 11 on the come out, pass on this shooter.
Never play beyond three loss shooters in a row. If the shooter
makes his point right away, then sevens out immediately after
establishing his next point you'll be $22 down. If you suffer
three losses in a row, leave the table. By finishing after three
loses in a row, you can apply this system with a bankroll of just
$75.
